Q. What is the Parking situation?
A. Boxwood Social Hall is located in the Marietta Square area, so there is plenty of nearby street parking as well as paid lots and parking decks.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Stories & Starlight is all about celebrating your favorite story, so dress to impress in an homage to your favorite literary works. If you need inspiration, check out this Pinterest board!
Q. What’s planned for the evening?
A. We have so many exciting things planned! A typewriter poet! A dj! A group dance lesson hosted by the Atlanta Historic Dance Society! A costume contest! And tons of literary magic throughout the evening!
Q. Is there an Age Restriction?
A. Stories & Starlight is a 21+ event and IDs will be checked at the door.
Q. Is the venue accessible?
A. The venue is ADA compliant and a ramp is available at the side entrance.
Q. I bought tickets, but won’t be able to make it to the event? How can I resell them?
A. Beware scammers! Stories & Starlight tickets can only be resold via the official tixel, so stay tuned for more information!
Q. Lady Geeks of Atlanta??? Who are they????
A. Lady Geeks of Atlanta is a non-profit social club that got its start in 2015. We are on Meetup, Facebook, and Discord, and we host a variety of geeky events throughout the year. We are entirely volunteer-run and host events all over metro Atlanta. So if you’re into Hobbit Picnics, crafternoons, reading, writing, cosplay, conventions, and general geekery, check us out!
